The Black eye for boxing- a look at Saturday's Pacquiao-Bradley fight

COMPUBOX PUNCHSTAT REPORT

Tim Bradley W 12 (spl) Manny Pacquiao
06/09/2012 Las Vegas
Really CJ Ross (115-113) and Duane Ford (115-113)? Manny outlanded Bradley 253-159 in total punches and had a 190-108 edge in power shots landed. Manny outlanded Bradley in 10 of 12 rounds.
I'm sure fight fans and boxing experts are still scratching their heads about what went down on Saturday night between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley. Usually i'll tune in on a Boxing PPV event but passed on it this past Saturday, instead of handing $54.95 to Time Warner I used it towards dinner with the family and figured I'll hear all the Tweets & Facebook posts on the action and numerous blogs that would sound off about it.

Truthfully, I'm as shocked as most of you are. It's the first time I've witnessed seeing the Compubox stats and highlights including the fact someone out punching someone but go down with the loss.  Really?? 253 to 159 in favor of the Pac-Man. Hearing even Timothy Bradley say Manny is fast and don't think he had a chance on Saturday night.

As a sports fan is boxing really rigged in this age? Boxing is just about money??? Bob Arum and few others behind all of this? Sad if it's true. And if it is, boxing you might have lost me. I turned away from the Heavyweight division and enjoyed the weight classes under them.  I've been hoping a Floyd and Manny showdown for the last 3 years, I guess now that would be in  question the earliest would be this November but now a rematch of Pacquiao and Bradley are in talks and I've even seen online pictures of posters already promoting the Nov. 10 card. So Mayweather and Pacquiao next March if it will ever happen?
Boxing there's a lot of money to be made but why pull one on the boxing fans and make them think Pacquiao really lost based on these stats. Do really want folks to follow UFC instead?
Hey Just sayin!!
