Osaka Ramen, Pearl Kai Shopping Center

This place was a rare find in the Pearlridge/Aiea area,  Osaka Ramen. I truly was looking for a unique place to chow down and found this place in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center, the same place as my previous post of Sugarlina BakeShop. When I went inside it was quite empty with just 2 other tables occupied in a decent size dining area, then again it was mid-afternoon a sort of weird time to have ramen. Service was great, greeted right as you entered and I took my seat at a nearby table. If you're not familiar with the different types of ramen they help you out with the pictures of what they offer on the menu. My mind was made up quick as I enjoy a good Curry Ramen which included a side of Chicken Katsu and I also threw in a gyoza set. What's ramen without the gyoza right? Das Right! Hearty and tasty bowl of Curry Ramen. Gyoza was also perfect, the server added that they make their own gyoza and never use the frozen one they sell at the market, the noodles in the ramen was pretty authentic along with the curry. Cool, she even insisted try adding the minced garlic to the gyoza sauce. Which definitely was pretty good.  If given the chance, I'd visit again, I probably will as I was even told if you like spicy give the  spicy tan tan ramen a try. Shootz! Soooo.. EhBrahCheckDisOut-----> Introducing a New Cupcake Place at the Pearl Kai Shopping Center

EhBrahCheckDisOut stumbled past this new cupcake place in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center on the makai side of the old Tower Records. It's nice to see one open up on this side of island.

Here it is Sugarlina Bakeshop, open Monday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. & they are closed on Sundays.
As you walk into Sugarlina, they greet you as you enter and the bright lights and clean spacious shop has a welcoming feeling.  A nice presentation at the cashwrap with the available cupcakes and they can tell you the cupcake schedule when certain ones are made.

Here's the front of the Sugarlina BakeShop, Pearl Kai Shopping Center across of Pearlridge Shopping Center.

The Menu board as you walk inside.  That day we tried off the bat a dozen! Yah a dozen baby! We got a half dozen red velvet & half dozen of the strawberry.  Both the red velvet and strawberry were fantastic. Very moist and refreshing, the cream on both cupcakes perfect and not overpowering. The red velvet was perfect and the strawberry cream tasted close to Strawberry Quik.  Definitely I'll be returning and on my next visit, I'm looking forward to trying the  salted caramel & PB chocolate.

You walk right in, the folks are nice and greet you with a smile and then the happy cupcakes just makes your day with a display like that.  Here's a few of the flavors that are available at Sugarlina BakeShop.
