For the Big Island folks and visitors that have a extended stay!! Found a Wednesday gem, a weekday Farmer's Market at the Parker Ranch Pukalani Stable located behind the Parker Ranch Shopping Center and adjacent to a private residence called Holo Holo Ku. Every Wednesdays there's 2 ways to get to there on 190 turn right after the Parker Ranch Arena or if you are in Waimea follow the route on Pukalani Rd. between the shopping center and Ace Hardware. They got just about everything from veggies, fruits, plate lunches, a vendor I go to R. Nakamura farms has freshly made Kai Choy & cucumber kim chee and taegu. They also have quesadillas made right there and veggies for sale at a $1 each.
There are other vendors that selling vegetables and fruits, clothing for adults and the keiki, gourmet cupcakes, plants for sale and a few other things.
Here's just outside the farmer's market grounds in the parking lot just a little glimpse for you on what to expect.
My small purchase for today's market. All this for $16! There's other good stuff including plate lunch stand that they do the bbq right there!! That bbq smell was very inviting.
The market is open 11a.m. to 5p.m. Always nice to support the local farmers!! So EhBrahCheckDisOut!!!
